Deutz engine spare parts for mining equipment
Deutz engine parts: why they’re so often requested underground
Deutz is the most common engine block in the legacy fleet we service: air- or oil-cooled, no water needed, a real advantage inside a mine. An engine losing power, smoking, or burning oil beyond normal puts the machine in the workshop. Injectors, turbocharger, cylinder head and cooling system are the Deutz engine parts most requested.
Covers
Deutz and compatible diesel engines, and their internal components, on LHDs, underground trucks and mine auxiliary equipment.
Which machines
Engines on the Toro LH517, LH621i, TH663i and MT720, on the Scooptram ST7LP, ST14 and Minetruck MT2010, MT2200, MT65 — every truck and loader carries its own combustion engine to move — and on surface auxiliary equipment such as the Ranger DX800. Full list in machines covered.
Where to find the data
The engine number — not the machine’s — is on a plate bolted to the block, usually next to the exhaust manifold. That’s the number that actually cross-references the part; the machine’s serial number alone isn’t enough.
Remanufacturing
Cylinder heads, blocks and turbochargers have the best remanufacturing recovery on Deutz engines in legacy fleets, where a new part from the original manufacturer can take weeks.
What we need to quote
machine, engine brand and model, engine serial number (not only the machine’s), OEM reference, hours in service if known, quantity and urgency.
