Where to find the data
The rock drill/drifter reference is stamped on the housing, next to the oil inlet fitting. If the hammer is off the machine, a photo of that spot is enough to cross-reference it.
Remanufacturing
Piston, inner cylinder and shock valve are the parts with the best remanufacturing recovery in a rock drill — when the housing itself isn’t damaged, remanufacturing costs a fraction of a new hammer and with a much shorter lead time.
